Petrohué Falls

The Petrohué River gives rise to these unique waterfalls. The river runs between large masses of hard lava, formed by smaller stones joined by a glassy material that stands out to the eye. They originated from crystallized lava that cracked during cooling and was later resolved by a new layer of lava. The area where the falls are located is part of the Vicente Pérez Rosales National Park.

Puerto Varas is a tourist destination par excellence, therefore there is a wide range of activities that can be carried out throughout the area, from city tours to sailing in Patagonian lakes, climbing the Osorno volcano or fly fishing in sectors with world recognition in the region. subject.
